Assam Tea

Rich and full-bodied black tea with a unique malty taste from the historic Khongea Estate in Northern India’s Brahmaputra Valley. Established in the 1800s, the estate has been family-run since 1949.

Located in upper reaches of the Assam region, the single largest tea-growing region in the world. The Khongea Estate is not only renowned for its exemplary production, but for its high standards of welfare, and most prominently known as the key component of English Breakfast Tea, this single origin tea is a refined, lighter tea, best enjoyed with a dash of milk for a brisk start to the day.


Caramel Tea

A perfect blend for the adventurous tea drinker with a sweet tooth, the caramel black tea is both decadent and rich. The velvety blend of Nilgiri black loose leaf teas, expertly combined with natural caramel, is produced by a small NGO-run co-operative in the Sahyadri Mountains in Southern India. Here, the traditional tea gardens support works to improve the lives of the poor and marginalised, along with fighting climate change in rural India.

This high-grade, traditional tea is bought fresh each season, the leaves are carefully handpicked and handcrafted to tease out the sweetest notes and most complex flavours.


Salted Caramel Shortbread

The ever-popular Shortbread – handmade to The Wolseley’s own recipe – has been elevated here with the addition of moreish salted caramel chips.

The Wolseley’s shortbread uses only best-quality ingredients to ensure that each biscuit has an authentic crumbly texture and freshly baked taste. Handmade in Dorset, these indulgently addictive shortbread fingers make for the perfect afternoon treat and are best enjoyed with a cup of tea.


Dark Chocolate Florentines

An ever popular sight at The Wolseley, these are a chewy, crunchy combination of flaked almonds, pistachios and hazelnuts with citrus peel, honey and glacé cherries, dipped in dark chocolate.
